Dorje Ta'og, a special protector of Sera Monastery in Lhasa, Tibet.

Dorje Ta'og is a special worldly protector of the Sera Monastery of the Gelug Tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. The protector was originally located at Samye Monastery and later relocated to Sera. He typicallt rides atop a black horse but can also be depicted riding a lion.

Special Features:
- Wrathful in appearance, one face, two hands
- Wearing a monk's style riding hat (but not a monk)
- holding a vajra in the right hand
- holding a vase in the left hand
- Wearing multi-coloured lay garments
- Riding a dark horse or lion
