Nagaraksha (Tibetan: lui drag po): a fierce form of the bodhisattva Manjushri from the Drigung lineage of the Kagyu Tradition.
With nine heads and a multitude of hands, the lower body is that of a coiled snake tail, green in colour, with snakes arising from the crown of the head and the entire form surrounded by flames of wisdom.
 
		 
	
		
		Nagaraksha is a form of Manjushri with a number of different iconographic types. He can have a great number of arms and appear in several different body colours. The wrathful appearance and serpent lower body is a consistent feature with most or all forms. 
Lineage: Manjushri, Vajrapani, Padmasambhava, Trisong Detsen, Terton Chogyal Rinchen Lingpa (14th century), etc.
